The University of South Carolina has launched a new Brain Health network to enhance patient diagnosis and care. The initiative will bring together eminent physicians and researchers to solve cognitive health problems and reduce disparities in cognitive health care. The new state-of-the-art Brain Health Center will occupy the existing Med Park Fifteen building located adjacent to the Prisma Health campus. The structure will receive a transformative renovation, including a new exterior skin of limestone and glass and extensive interior floor tenant upfits. Major program components include a full-service Neuro-clinic, Physical Therapy Suite, and Diagnostic suite with two high-definition MRI machines.  The project is designed to achieve Two Green Globes.

The design is a collaboration between Quackenbush Architects + Planners and Perkins & Will.
