Susan Boyd Croquet Court & Pavilion
Inspired by the surrounding campus structures and the original 1910 Victorian mansion, the Croquet Court and Pavilion at Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Home offer a welcoming, open-air space for residents and guests to gather and enjoy recreation and fellowship.
The Susan Boyd Croquet Court and Pavilion provide a tournament-worthy playing surface alongside a thoughtfully designed pavilion. Located within walking distance of the main residence building, the Pavilion reflects the architectural language of nearby covered walkways and porte-cochere structures. Its design includes a standing seam hip roof with a central cupola, a Tuscan column colonnade, and coffered ceilings with recessed lighting and ceiling fans for comfort and function. The 2,400-square-foot Pavilion features a vaulted central area, two storage rooms, a full-service bar with catering amenities, and accessible restrooms. It’s a flexible space ideal for year-round use during croquet tournaments and other community gatherings.
Together, the croquet court and Pavilion are a fitting addition to the Still Hopes campus—designed to support connection, tradition, and everyday community life.
