Recognized as a national finalist for the A4LE McConnell Award, Blythewood High School is organized around a small lake on its 150-acre site, taking full advantage of the natural setting while delivering a campus informed by technology and progressive teaching methodologies at every level. The design provides interdisciplinary learning opportunities through four distinct academic houses, with vocational labs integrated alongside science labs to foster interaction and innovative discovery. Designed in partnership with Perkins&Will.

The 290,000-square-foot facility initially houses 1,700 students, with a core designed to support expansion to 2,000 students. Program elements include a modern Media Center and Cyber Cafe, a performance auditorium with ancillary support space, and two gymnasiums.
