Presbyterian College Richardson Hall Renovation

Presbyterian College

Completion Date
2018

Project Budget
$1.7 Million

Richardson Science Hall, a three-story 41,000 square foot building built in 1964—currently serving Presbyterian College’s Biology, Chemistry, and Physics departments—was renovated to provide room for the College’s new Physician Assistant Program. The renovations focus primarily on the second and first floors and include spatial reconfiguration for the new program as well as relocation of existing functions, mechanical and electrical upgrades, and improvements to address code requirements and aesthetics.

Major goals of the project include creating curb appeal for potential and existing PC students, as well as potential donors and guest speakers; providing a comfortable space for the students and a new identity within the context of campus; and to maximize financial and physical resources.
