This three-story learning commons serves as the focal point of Midlands Technical College’s Beltline Campus along Rosewood Drive. The main entrance on the middle floor connects with a courtyard facing the campus center that has become an important social space for students and faculty, establishing the building as a crossroads of campus life.
The ground floor features technology-rich classrooms and computer labs. The upper level houses the remainder of the library program, study rooms in a variety of sizes, the Academic Success Center with on-site tutoring, and the college’s Life Skills Center. The project has achieved LEED Silver certification, the first on the Beltline Campus.
