Designed in collaboration with Gensler Sports, the Long Family Football Operations Center consolidates Gamecock Football’s previously decentralized operations into one facility adjacent to the indoor practice facility and outdoor practice fields. The planning streamlines student-athletes’ daily routines, allowing more time for training, academics, and social activities while creating a compelling destination for recruiting and donor engagement.

The 110,000-square-foot center includes over 33,000 square feet of weight room and training space, hydrotherapy, nutrition and dining areas, coaches’ offices, meeting rooms, locker rooms, a players’ lounge, and a glass atrium with interactive exhibits highlighting the program’s history. The building has achieved Two Green Globes certification and incorporates large expanses of glass framing views of adjacent Williams-Brice Stadium.
