Ridge View High School Addition & Renovation
Richland School District Two
Columbia, SC
Completed
2011
Quackenbush Architects + Planners provided two impactful additions at Ridge View High School, along with a new envelope system, including the roof and gutters, designed for long-term maintenance.
The first addition provided 24,000 square feet of new teaching and student activity space for Ridge View’s highly successful Institute for Health Sciences magnet programs. A second addition expanded the cafeteria dining hall, while renovations improved the entry rotunda with a help desk and enhanced safety and security features. Additional upgrades included the repurposing of teaching and administrative spaces and exterior improvements that fit the existing campus character.
