Two concurrent projects upgrade the fan experience on the west side of Williams-Brice Stadium as part of a multipronged effort to modernize the venue for its approximately 14,000 fans seated in this area. The first project adds two new elevators and an enclosed lobby with direct access to the 200 club level, relieving pedestrian congestion at the main central elevator tower.
The second project expands the main level concourse with over 5,000 square feet of new gathering and concession space oriented toward views of Gamecock Park. Two additional interior expansions adjacent to the ramps add over 1,600 square feet, increasing concession efficiency. The elevator shaft is constructed of concrete to blend with the iconic stadium structure, and an expanded 200-level platform provides views of Gamecock Park and the Long Family Football Operations Center.
