Coastal Carolina University’s PGA Golf Management program belongs beside the course, and the new Academic Learning Lab puts it there. Set near the ninth hole of the Hackler Golf Course, the building works as a combined teaching and working lab, pairing classrooms with hands-on, golf-specific instruction space. Central lobbies on both levels open onto a two-story balcony that keeps the course in view and gathers the whole program around it. Brick and cast stone detailing echoes the academic buildings on the Conway campus, connecting the lab to the wider university.

The two-story building will organize four main program components around the central lobbies. The first floor will house a pro shop and a restaurant and kitchen, and the second floor will hold classrooms, swing and putting labs, and offices. Once complete, the facility will also serve as the clubhouse for the Hackler Golf Course.
